Vaultlie is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. This policy applies to all users of the Vaultlie platform at vaultlie.com.
2. Who We Are
Vaultlie is a trading card portfolio tracking and price analysis platform. We are based in Denmark and our primary contact email is Support@vaultlie.com. As we operate within the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3. What Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data when you use Vaultlie. Account data including your name and email address when you register. Portfolio data including the cards you add to your portfolio, their purchase prices, conditions and quantities. Usage data including which pages you visit and which features you use. Payment data processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full payment card details. Communication data including messages you send to our support team.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the Vaultlie service, to process your subscription payments, to send you price alerts and important account notifications, to respond to your support requests, and to analyse usage patterns to improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
5. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR. Contract performance, meaning we need your data to provide the service you signed up for. Legitimate interests, meaning we use anonymised usage data to improve the platform. Legal obligation, meaning we may retain certain data to comply with Danish and EU law. Consent, meaning for optional communications such as newsletters you can withdraw consent at any time.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account we will delete your personal data within 30 days. We may retain anonymised usage data for longer periods for analytical purposes. Payment records are retained for 5 years as required by Danish accounting law.
7. Third Party Services
Vaultlie uses the following third party services that may process your data. Stripe for payment processing. Railway for backend hosting. Vercel for frontend hosting. The PokemonTCG API, Scryfall, YGOProDeck and eBay for card price data. These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.
8. Cookies
Vaultlie uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings but this may affect the functionality of the platform.
9. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a user based in the EU or elsewhere, you have the following rights. The right to access the personal data we hold about you. The right to correct inaccurate data. The right to delete your data by deleting your account. The right to restrict or object to processing. The right to data portability, meaning you can request a copy of your personal data. 10. Data Security
We take data security seriously. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel only. We use industry standard security practices to protect your data.
11. Children
Vaultlie is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Vaultlie after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
